Wilco Week: Day 1

Every day this week for sotd I am going to offer up one of my favorite wilco tunes. today is kingpin, from being there.

also, because today is monday and mondays are generally shit, here is another song, a 2nd sotd. it’s by a french lady who goes by SoKo (watch the video!). It comes to us courtesy of simon, from loafe’s satellite office in new zealand. technically, at the time I write this, monday is almost over, and it wasn’t really a shit day at all. but I’m sure one of the days this week will be, so it works out in the end.

I hate being a stupid american, we can’t pull off anything like this. I don’t care who you are, you can’t do it.

    Kingpin is good..while listening to it I fantasized that all the young people gave up their 21st century
    gap,walmart,old navy,j crew individuality for all of the groovy fashions of the 1965 to 1968 counterculture era……it was fun…
