whoa!
Look what happens when I step away for a few days! The comment section hasn’t seen so much action since Bush was elected.
I apologize for my absence. I had a whole big move going on, and even though the computer was of course one of the first items unpacked and setup, I had no phone service and/or internet connection.
If you’re hearing angels singing and people rejoicing, it is because I have at last achieved religious rebirth, via broadband. hallelujah!
Expect a flurry of activity in the coming weeks, only to die down to a pathetic whisper of tiresome rants.
- we’re in.
- baby o’ mine
Hay gurrl!! Congrats on the move. Exciting, eh? We’re in the same boat. We should compare trace route pings. Okay, go! Oooh, I got 36ms! Wow! Yay for broadband!
I’ve been away from Loafe too, not by choice. Reading online blogs was against the teachings of the cult I was a part of for a few weeks. But. alas, they went out of business, and all I got was some slightly used office furniture, a fax machine, and my blog reading rights back. Stupid cults.
Also, I saw your last post was up to 42 comments. I don’t have that kind if time in my life.
Peace out bitches!

You rock, Christa! thank you! thank you! thank you! your friendship means alot to me as does what you said in the last comments section. You’re right, I am a Leo and dont let people easily knock me down and when I read that someone posted “we dont want to lose you, CB, dont go away” I decided why should I? and to hell with what jackass thinks! guess where i’m going back down too? The OC of all places, Christa. Remember the memories we shared down there living together? anyway, going to stay with my dear friends Oscar and Margie, two of the coolest people you could ever hope to meet. I get a week of vacation from work from Oct 6th-12th, so thats where i’ll be. Here I come Laguna Beach, drinking Peach Schnapps straight from the bottle, ahhhhhh the memories. We had some interesting times, to say the least. Hey, whatever became of Jon??? talk about a character. What was it again, the winter of 97 or 98? boy, time sure does fly, we were but young punks back than :-)
Oh yeah and I almost forgot, I got a $1.50 raise after only 4 months of working here, where it took everyone else atleast 2 years before they got one. My boss really likes me, what can I say. What is there not to like? :-) so now i’m making a whopping $12.50 an hour. Woo Hoo! and one of the tenants here, Valerie, gave me a gift certificate tonight to a day spa, which I have never done before, so i’m pretty excited! cant wait to use it on my next day off. I guess those are some of the perks to being a concierge, that and the baked goods the old women are always bring down to me, which is just what my hips need ;-) still, it’s very sweet and makes me feel good to be so well liked and appreciated, after such a short amount of time. Even my boss told me today that the tenants rave about how much they really like me and what a “sweetheart” I am, ahhhhhh shucks! so despite the other crap happening in my life, it gets balanced out with nice stuff too. Yay! how’s the new digs working out for you? seriousely, buy that new double disc cd set of Christina Aguleria. I know it might be hard to believe, but it truly kicks ass and takes names. Also, James Blunt, could I love him more?
Congrats on the raise.. Hang in there CB.. We LUVS you!!
Congrats on the Broadband CJM….

I’m sorry, I’m getting here late. Did you just imply that your personality traits are based on your astrological sign?
Hey, I still havent figured out how to download songs onto my Scandisk. I am so technogically retarted. HELP! do you just plug those things into your computer and then what? you can record cd’s onto it and I think you can downlaod songs from the internet too, but I have no clue how to do it. Like I said, I was still listening to cassette tapes for cryin out loud, till Bob got me this for my b-day and I still only use it for the radio, cause thats all I know how to do. UGH! I SO have to get with the times.
Okay, Christa, so i’m waiting you for and Ryland to come to Seattle any day now :-)
