be still my heart.

The idea of a 2008 Presidential campaign of Clinton, H vs McCain, J positively makes me shiver. Because on a ballot with those names, I feel good, I feel happy, I feel elated. I would be happy with either one. But alas, I know it’s too good to be true. I don’t think the Republicans would ever let McCain have the nomination and despite my hope and love for Hillary, I worry that 2008 is too early for a female victor. At least in this country of rednecks and testosterone-led businesses, anyway.

But I have my dreams. I have my hopes. I have my fantasies. No matter how wild they may be, I have them.

Perhaps if we stand up ,join hands and sing COOM-BY-YA…..or take direct action and create Political action groups . The choice is ours.

If the Republicans do not nominate McCain, Clinton will win. We don’t have anyone left on this side worth throwing against Hillary. I WAS really looking forward to the Clinton vs Rice campaign, but Rice says she won’t run. Maybe Clinton vs Powell?

Personally, my dream-team would be a McCain/Lieberman ticket.

There’s too much anger. The debate is being drowned out by the hate. People need to stop thinking in terms of “sides” and start thinking in terms of “ideas.” My *ideas* on gay marriage, taxes, the war, etc may or may not be different than yours. But so long as one is concerned with defending their “side,” we’ll never get anything constructive done.

Brasten…its always been about money, power and control at all cost. And it gets worse and uglier as time goes on.
Unfortunately ideas , in reality, died a long time ago. To think that any of those flowery
“wouldnt it be grand” speaches are nothing more than opium for the masses is naive.

Rice V Clinton would be incredible. Talk about a battle between people that are just INCREDIBLY widely hated by huge swaths of America.

Genetically combine Condoleeza and Hillary to make a new hybrid leader.
    That would be truly interesting.
