funny. and not so funny.

I like the new approach comment spammers are taking. The most recent comment said: I really appreciate blogs like this one becuase it is insightful and helps me communicate with others. thanks.also, that guy billyz, I really need to talk to you about that cure you mentioned.

Oh comment spammers, you sure know your way to a girl’s heart. Through generic and random flattery directed at no one and everyone. And of course the old standby, poor grammar and spelling. I’m all a-flutter now.

Ryland is waking up every 2 hours during the night. I can’t figure out why and I’ve tried a million different things (except for the cry-it-out method, which I refuse to do), including some of the suggestions given to me here on loafe. Nothing works. I am trying so very hard to be patient and wait it out, because eventually this has to change. It can’t last forever, can it? CAN IT?

At least I can look forward to death.

I have nothing but pure hatred for every mother who tells me about how her perfect frigging baby sleeps 8 or 9 or 10 hours at night, without so much as a peep. I hate these people and I know I can’t light them on fire or throw stones at them or make them explode with just my eyes. But inside I burn. My only solace? Knowing they’ll pay. Oh yes, how they’ll pay. Their sweet sleeping little babies will make them pay, maybe not today and maybe not tomorrow, but someday. They’ll get their due and I’ll get my justice.

someday.

I thought for a moment.. just a moment, how if you gave me a list of those that make you burn hottest, how I would go out and settle their hash with you, for you. But then sanity crept back in and I decided not.

Ryland's sleep pattern will get better,it will. Most babies once they start a bit of solid food there tummies stay fuller, longer and sleep should be better.
My 8 month old sleeps in the night now but he needs his dummy(pacifier) and he loses it 2 or 3 times a night. He always goes back to sleep but even now I am still getting up for the damn dummy a couples of times so tiredness is still a pretty strong factor.(And I havent even mentioned my restless 4 year old who plays musical beds all night!)
I too would be very jealous of any mum who feels bright and sparky in the morning.
I actually always wonder, does anyone actually wake up feeling bright and sparky?
I can't remember feeling it.

Sorry about that double up.

Thanks Fi, for your comments. They were so reassuring that I am glad you posted it twice!

And anyone, mom or not, who wakes up feeling bright and sparky can kiss off.

I've never been a morning person and never will be.

Anyway, thanks.
