please come to boston.

So in a few short hours, we’re headed off to Boston. I am very excited. I can’t wait to see everyone and see the city and show off my beautiful baby. I love travelling, even when it’s a pain in the ass. I wonder how it will be with Ryland. Hmmm.

There is a very good possibility that Gordon will not be returning home. The notion that I am going to have to do this whole parenting thing solo is becoming an increasingly likely scenario. I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this, we’ll see what happens. The good thing is my family and my friends are supportive and will do pretty much anything to make sure Ryland and I are happy AND safe.

Men suck. God do they suck. Thank all hell that Ryland has me for a mother, to make sure he grows up decent.

okay, I’ll see you kids later. Send happy thoughts my way, high high up in the sky.

Gordon is returning home. Boston is Gordon's home.

Men are a gaping sucking black hole of misery and mistrust. I feel like that all the time, even on Lexapro, so it must be true!
Have a good time in Boston, maybe letting Gordon go is not so bad. You have what you wanted, a wonderful bambino.

Also, let me know if you need me to pick you up at the airport when you get home.

I second that one, sister! of course, it's worse up here in Seattle (with the exception of Basten of course) where all the men I seem to date are either bipolar or alcoholics, or both. UGH! anyhoo, i'm sorry to hear about Gordon, but I know you'll do just fine without him, sounds like you have an excellent support system of family & friends. Support systems are so important, I honestly dont know what I would have done without mine, after my mom died, so I consider myself lucky in that sense, despite the fact that life has seriousely kicked my ass this year! let me say this, maybe you'll luck out and Ryland will be gay and fabulous! I always thought if I had a son, i'd like for him to be a dragqueen. Can I send Ryland a feather boa and a framed picture of Judy Garland? ;-) okay, have fun in Boston! i'm going to the ocean from Thurs-Sun in the hopes of clearing my head some and getting re-grounded, either that or i'll get drunk and drown, but i'm really hoping for the first one. Ciao, Bella!

CJ, whatever you need... Tiff and I here for you. Seriously, anything. I hope you have a good time there in Bahston, go see some old friends and throw some tea in the hah-bah for me.
