a new home!

So we finally managed to find a place to live and we moved in over the weekend. I am so happy to finally be able to settle in and relax a little. I still have a million and one things to stress about, but having a place of my own, where I’m not inconveniencing or imposing on my good friends, is so nice, feels so good, I can’t even tell you. I am eternally grateful for all the help and support my friends, especially Morgan and Tiffany, have given me. I could never thank them like they deserve, but I am sure they all know how much I really appreciate it. Ryland thanks them immensely as well.

I can’t afford cable or internet or even a telephone right now, so loafe updates and email correspondence will be sparse. Hopefully these luxuries will be available to me again soon. I am at my parents’ house right now and doing some serious stealth work to post here without leaving any traces of this site that they could stumble across.

I think they feel guilty about everything that’s happened, particularly my mother, because she went out and bought me a lot of stuff for my new place. I am grateful for it, but I just wish it wasn’t the result of guilt. Oh well, I will take all the help I can get right now, no matter the reason.

I get another ultrasound this week! I am very excited. Maybe I can post the pictures.

Also, I need a dresser, a car, a desk and an ottoman or coffee table. Feel free to buy me these things.

Ack! Too bad you didn't live closer to me - the place Aaron works makes upholstered furniture, cool stuff - they are making stuff for Pottery Barn. Anyway - They have 101 million ottomans for pretty cheap. While you're unemployed why don't you drive out here to VA? It one only cost you gas money, which are pretty good right now.

Too bad you didn't live closer to me...(PA) I could hook you up with free internet access. I work for an ISP. :-\ Good to hear you are doing ok though.

A great place to find home furnishings are flea markets & garage/estate sales, that's where i've found most of mine. You can score some really unique, funky pieces that way, that dont make your place look like an IKEA showroom. No cable?!?! that's just wrong! should be a God given right to every single American :-) now that i've been spoiled by cable modem, dont think I could go back to regular dial up. Congrats on getting outta the folks place and landing your own pad, I know that must be a huge relief for you. Tell Ryland hello for me ;-) when is he due again?
Christa, guess where i'm going this weekend? SAN FRANSISCO! last time I was there was when you and I did our girls weekend, right before your move to Boston, remember that? how could you possibly foget that Motel 6? we DID have a good time, didnt we? especially getting drunk (remember that cute bartender giving us all those free drinks?) and going to that one sex club, oy vey! dont think i'll be making a return trip to that place this time however ;-) anyway, take care, girly!
