December 10, 2003new look!Well, I’ve gone ahead and changed things up again here at loafe.com. It’s all still a little new, so be forgiving if something goes wrong or you run into some sort weird issue or if it looks funny or doesn’t flow smoothly. Just be sure to let me know if you see something strange. But all that aside, isn’t it exciting? The new look isn’t very fancy but I like un-fancy stuff. Plus, blue is always interesting and neat. I am trying to use the capabilities that come with something like movable type. The archive process should be a little easier and more streamlined, plus I can update as many times a day as I want and I can have comments on my entries and I don’t have to try and come up with a new quote and and and...well I am just excited for it. I am not sure about the new comments section. I guess I care what people think, but at the same time, I really don’t care. We’ll see how it goes. If it starts to bug me, I’ll eliminate it. If I like it, then I suppose I’ll keep it. No matter what, this is still a web journal, not a blog, and I don’t care what anyone says about that! By the way, I still need to go winter solstice shopping. I have purchased this many gifts so far: 0. Posted by christa at December 10, 2003 09:07 PMThe new look of loafe is supah sexy. I'm highly jealous :) Posted by: Michelle at December 10, 2003 10:14 PMgood new about page. but, just so you know, you can be as jaded as you want to be, but i am quite certain that once you are thirty you can no longer be described as young. just so you know. Posted by: Marianne at December 11, 2003 09:26 AMLet the others be jealous, let them talk... The new site looks great. However, one suggestion though, you should have a minimum of 12 animated gifs on each page. I think it'll really jazz up your site. Posted by: Morgan Montgomery Schlaline at December 11, 2003 11:16 AMVery nice. I like the picture of you on your homepage, too. You look so intense! Posted by: Lynette at December 11, 2003 01:22 PMWoo hoo, christa sista ... love the font. Rock out girlfriend! Site is great. What up, Christa. Didn't you abbreviate your name recently? C'sta, or Ch'a. (Ch-ch-ch-Ch'a -- you'd look good with green hair) I wish I had a housewarming gift for you. Do you take cash? Your site rocks my world, and now it's an RGB dream. Posted by: Schmatrick at December 12, 2003 03:21 PMCM - This is a lovely, lovely place. I enjoy it ever so much. I come to it even when the sun is shining and I have other things to do because it makes me smile and/or invoke deep thought, always. Posted by: Stephanie A at December 14, 2003 12:08 PM |
